Grove GRT8100
Descripción de la publicación
The Grove GRT8100 rough terrain crane has a capacity of 100 tons and a 5 section, full power MEGAFORM boom that allows for synchronized extension capability with a maximum length of 154 feet. It also offers a 56 foot manual off-settable bi-fold lattice swing away extension.
The GRT8100 is powered by a Cummins 275 engine and boasts its user friendly design by including Grove’s new Crane Control System (CCS). The CCS includes two graphic displays, mounted vertically for easier viewing, and a jog dial that allows for navigation and data input. By including the system, operators can change specifications such as movement speed and reaction for each jobsite to maximize effectiveness and safety. The operator is given another level of control by having 3 different modes of telescoping he can chose from to complete lifts in any situation.
The cab of the GRT8100 was designed for efficiency and ease of use. It includes a 20 degree tilt and a full vision design to ensure that the operator can fully see all potential risks and make the best decisions for completing the job. The tilt/telescoping steering wheel can also be adjusted in order to allow for operators of different sizes to be comfortable and not be distracted by discomfort.
The GRT8100 is also easily transportable, weighing less than 94000 pounds after removal of counterweight and boom pieces. The removal of the counterweight is made easy by being hydraulically self-removable.
