This latest acquisition, boasting six axles, marks the largest mobile crane in the company’s portfolio, which exclusively comprises Liebherr cranes ranging from two to five axles. The decision to invest in the LTM 1300-6.3 was driven by its maneuverable chassis, variable ballast radius, and flexible support technology, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of operations. Managing Director Roland Haslach highlights the significance of the crane’s features in meeting the company’s evolving requirements, particularly in prefabricated concrete construction and machine loading. Equipped with a 90-meter telescopic boom, the LTM 1300-6.3 sets new standards in lifting capabilities within its class. Noteworthy features such as VarioBallast, VarioBase, ECOmode, ECOdrive, Auto-Ballast, and Windspeed Load Charts enhance operational efficiency and safety. The crane’s extended main boom enables impressive lifting heights and substantial load capacities, crucial for addressing the growing demands of construction projects. Its maneuverability is particularly advantageous in mountainous regions, facilitating seamless operations in challenging terrains. The efficiency of the LTM 1300-6.3 is further underscored by its quick assembly and disassembly, requiring no guying of the crane. Its ability to carry the complete telescopic boom on public roads with a twelve-tonne axle load ensures swift mobilization between sites, aligning with the company’s commitment to delivering timely and efficient services. With the addition of the LTM 1300-6.3, Kranverleih Haslach GmbH now boasts a comprehensive fleet comprising a range of Liebherr cranes, offering lifting capacities from 40 to 300 tonnes. This expansion reflects the company’s dedication to meeting the diverse needs of its clientele. Established in the 1980s, Kranverleih Haslach GmbH continues its legacy under the leadership of the second generation of the Haslach family, Tobias and Roland. With a team of twelve dedicated employees, the company remains well-positioned to deliver exceptional crane hire services, backed by decades of experience and a commitment to customer satisfaction. #KranverleihHaslach #Liebherr #LTM1300-6.3 #MoveItMagazine

Mediaco Secures Major Swiss Acquisition READ YOUR FREE COPY HERE: https://moveitmagazine.com/2023/07/26/mediaco-secures-major-swiss-acquisition/ Mediaco has taken a significant step in its European and international growth strategy with the recent confirmation of its acquisition of Matthey-Petit SA, a prominent Swiss lifting company. The roots of Matthey-Petit SA SA trace back to 1927 when Arthur Matthey founded a transport company. Over the years, the company ventured into lifting and exceptional transport under the leadership of Claude Matthey, particularly through the acquisition of Petit Levage in 1991. Currently, Matthey-Petit Levage boasts an impressive fleet of 110 pieces of equipment, including 25 cranes ranging from 40 to 500 tons (Terex AC500), 4 Liebherr MK cranes with capacities from 88 to 140 tons, and 2 Spierings AT6 cranes. The company operates from two locations, Geneva and Lausanne, ensuring effective service coverage. With an annual turnover of 15 million euros, Matthey-Petit SA operates a modern fleet consisting of 25 cranes, 23 tractors, 52 heavy trailers for exceptional transports, and 11 truck-mounted cranes capable of lifting up to 120T/m. The acquisition of Matthey-Petit SA represents a significant strategic move for Mediaco, a family-owned and independent group based in Marseille. It not only fortifies the company’s presence abroad but also complements its existing four agencies in Germany, established between 2015 and 2020. This acquisition underlines Mediaco’s strong determination and ambition for international growth. Looking ahead, Mediaco plans to expand its Swiss subsidiary by acquiring new equipment in 2024, including 5 cranes ranging from 60 to 450 tons, 3 truck-mounted cranes with capacities up to 145t/m, and two complementary mobile tower cranes known as “MK.” A comprehensive development plan encompassing organic and external growth will be implemented to support the growth of Matthey-Petit Levage in Switzerland and offer customers the latest and most efficient machinery available in the market. To facilitate this expansion, the group has announced the recruitment of 20 new employees within the next 18 months. The integration of Matthey-Petit Levage’s 65 employees into the Mediaco group has been met with enthusiasm, and the company extends a warm welcome to its new collaborators, who join the existing workforce of 2,200 employees. Mr. Claude Matthey will continue to play a pivotal role as an administrator within the company, ensuring a smooth transition. Mediaco, under the leadership of Alexandre-Jacques Vernazza, remains at the forefront in France, excelling in the domains of lifting, handling, and industrial transfers. With a nationwide network of 90 agencies and an international presence, the family-owned group has experienced remarkable growth, surpassing 200% in less than a decade. Presently, Mediaco employs 2,200 people and boasts an extensive fleet of 3,000 pieces of equipment, including 850 cranes with capacities ranging from 30 to 1,200 tons. The group’s overall turnover stands at an impressive 425 million euros, with lifting and handling activities accounting for 380 million euros, positioning Mediaco as the third-largest crane operator in Europe. #Mediaco #Matthey-Petit #cranes #MoveItMagazine
