Mammoet Deploys World’s Largest Heavy Lift Cranes In India’s Energy Industry READ YOUR FREE COPY HERE: https://moveitmagazine.com/2023/06/20/mammoet-deploys-largest-cranes/ India has achieved a significant milestone in its rapid development and growing energy demands. Mammoet proudly announces the deployment of three of the world’s largest heavy lift ring cranes in India’s energy industry. This marks the first time in Mammoet’s history in India that its high-capacity heavy lift cranes have been concentrated in the country, all operating simultaneously. These cranes are designed for easy transportation anywhere in the world, with containerized components that ensure cost-effectiveness during shipping between sites and countries. Their compact base allows for concurrent on-site work, significantly reducing construction lead time, minimizing civil work requirements, and lowering related costs. Rahul Rathod, Project Sales Director for Mammoet India, expresses his pride in witnessing the world’s largest cranes in action on Indian soil. He emphasizes Mammoet’s commitment to providing efficient and integrated solutions in India’s evolving energy landscape, serving sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, nuclear power, and offshore wind projects. The three monumental cranes making their mark in India are the PTC210-DS, a colossal 5,000t capacity ring crane stationed in Gujarat for the installation of multiple heavy refinery components. Accompanying it are the PTC35-DS, a 1,600t capacity ring crane, and the PT50, a 2,000t ring crane, both working diligently in Rajasthan on various heavy refinery installations. These cranes can undertake extensive lifting activities from a single location, eliminating productivity losses due to relocation downtime and reducing civil work on site. Each crane operates at high speed, making them ideal for time-driven projects requiring multiple lifts. Looking ahead, Mammoet is prepared to elevate India’s energy infrastructure even further with its upcoming projects. The company plans to introduce two additional powerhouse cranes: the SK190, a 4,300t class crane, and the SK6000, an impressive 6,000t crane, which represents the next evolution in the SK series of super heavy-lift cranes. The SK6000 enables modular construction on a larger scale than ever before, reducing the number of operations, crane reconfigurations, and working at height during heavy industry projects. #MammoetIndia #PTC210-DS #PTC35-DS #MoveItMagazine
