The crane in the black and white image was built in the shipyards of the Unión Naval de Levante in 1927, soon after becoming part of the machinery of the Board of Works of the Port of Valencia. It could lift 80 tons according to the plaque on its structure, as can be seen, it is one of the so-called floating cranes, and it was used to do work like the one illustrated in the photograph.
